      It is informed that Mr. Zhang qingming, Professor of computer science at Beijing University, is unable to come to our school as planned because of a sudden illness. His doctor predicated he would recover from his illness in a couple of days. His lecture on computer science has been rescheduled on the next morning, Thursday, August first, 2007,at 9:00a.m.in the Teaching Building Hall. All teachers and students in this field are requested to be present. Others were welcome to attend lecture.

    As  everybody knows that traffic problems in our city become more and more serious. During the rush-hours every morning and afternoon, the roads are very crowded. There are traffic jams almost on every main road. The accident rate becomes higher than before. I think that it is high time for the city government to take some measures to solve this problem.

   First of all, we should repair the roads, for some of the roads are in bad condition and it is difficult for the drivers to go through. Secondly, we should build more overpasses so as to cut down traffic james. Thirdly, the production of cars should be controlled, for there are too many cars moving on the roads every day. As long as we do something like this, the traffic problem will be solved or at least the accident rate will be lowered. I do hope our government will accept my suggestions. 

Last Sunday afternoon my friends and Iwere walking in zhongshan park when we suddenly heard someone calling for help. A girl fell into the lake and she was in danger. One of my friends and I jumped into the lake and swam towards the girl. When she was pulled out of it, she had stoppedbreathing. I had learned some konwledge about first aid at school. So I tried to start her breath by using the mouth-to-mouth way. My friend phoned the the first Aid centre. Within ten minutes the girl began to breathe again and the doctors from the First Aid Center arrived. The girl was saved. They all said that what I did was right.
